The Bible (the Christian one). Magazines (first the gossip ones, now the pretentious ones). Autobiographies (writers and rockstars). The classics (Kerouac, Bukowski, Orwell). Blogs (about music, pop culture, travel). Tweets (by smart folks).

I learned to write by listening.
To rappers. Folk musicians. The radio. Preachers. Bosses. Clients. My parents. Nowadays, podcasts.

These days I make ads by thinking.
Thinking about people, and where they would like to see ads. Thinking about platforms, and what makes sense.

And thinking about what we can do to make the world we live in a softer place.
